The
Shellsuit revolution has begun. It will be unruly, grimy and
uncivilised. Clashing colours, shiny materials and lungeing will be
at its heart and it shall take no prisoners.
Some
revolutions are led by the majority, others by a small band of revolutionaries.
This one is the latter, the indoctrinators omni present; Jimmy
Saville, Kriss Akabusi, Mr Motivator and Pat Sharpe. From hills
of the North to city centres of the South there can be no stopping
the spread of this encompassing vision. Starved in the early nineties
it went underground growing in strength, knowledge and proudness until
today its emergence has found a sense of sureness and confidence within
itself.
The
Shellsuit knows its enemies; Fire, Scallies and any other material
known to man that feels better, but with this knowledge it becomes
even more powerful. The ethic of the Shellsuit encompasses
many genres, appropriate to all personal needs. From its origins in
the fashion capitals of the 80's, it has provided all wearers with
a fit and feel that is both like heaven itself and an ability to suddenly
break into boughts of unforced exercise. Warning! Wearing a Shellsuit
will provoke random acts of lungeing; anywhere and at anytime.
